We are now seeking archaeologists for seasonal employment, with assignments expected primarily in Central Sweden, but assignments in other locations may also be relevant.

The role includes participating in archaeological fieldwork and contributing to various aspects of the fieldwork. Occasionally, subsequent report writing may also be included in the employment.

You should have at least a Master’s degree with a focus on archaeology. Experience with fieldwork and GIS is an advantage. If you have experience leading archaeological investigations, that is a plus but not a requirement. A driving license is desirable and advantageous.

The positions will be filled continuously throughout the season, provided that sufficient assignment volume is obtained. So please submit your application as soon as possible. Start date to be agreed upon in 2026. For employment of at least three months, the employment will be in the form of a monthly salary. For shorter employments, the employment may be in the form of hourly work.
